It’s Friday, and time to celebrate more incredible local talent as we congratulate our Student Athletes of the Week! Today, we’re excited to introduce six hardworking young people who have committed significant time and effort to the sports they love. Their families and communities deserve to be incredibly proud of their hard work. Here’s this week’s lineup:

Student Athlete of the Week: Bailee Phillips

Red Bank High School: Bailee Phillips
Year: Senior
Sport: Volleyball
Stats: 10 aces, 29 kills, 26 digs last week

 

Knoxville Catholic High School: Kelsey Miller
Year: Junior
Sport: Volleyball
Stats: 2 goals and an assist last week in wins over Maryville and Chattanooga Christian School

Student Athlete of the Week: Lexanne Halama

Student Athlete of the Week: Layla Brogdon

Farragut High School: Lexanne Halama
Year: Senior
Sport: Golf
Stats: Lexanne won the Individual District Title last Wednesday by shooting a 68 at Egwani Farms Golf Course. Farragut’s Boys and Girls teams also won District titles.     

Lenoir City High School: Layla Brogdon
Year: Sophomore
Sport: Soccer
Stats: 7 goals and 3 assists

Sport: Soccer
Stats: Scored 3 goals

McMinn County High School: Cameron Erwin
