SouthEast Bank and You: Better Together
The recipients of SouthEast Bank’s support may evolve with the needs of our neighbors, but our commitment to community investment is unchanging. We encourage customers and community members to share feedback about our engagement and suggestions for how we can deepen our support for programs that matter to them. When requesting support, please be advised that we work with eligible 501 c3 non-profit organizations only.

The Community Reinvestment Act
We see our adherence to the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) as integral to our institution’s operations and community-centered mission. As a federal law, the CRA was designed to ensure that financial institutions meet the needs of the entire community in which they operate, with a particular focus on supporting low- and moderate-income (LMI) geographies, LMI individuals, and small businesses.
Toward this end, SouthEast Bank holds goals pertaining to:
Qualified home mortgages and small business, and community development loans.
Financially supporting initiatives that contribute to one of the four community development purposes:
1. Affordable housing for LMI individuals
2. Community services targeted to LMI individuals
3. Promote economic development by financing qualifying (gross annual revenues of $1 million or less) businesses or farms that promote permanent job creation, retention or improvement for LMI
4. Revitalizing or stabilizing LMI geographies, designated disaster areas, or distressed or underserved nonmetropolitan middle-income geographies.
Volunteering time in a financial services capacity for an organization that supports one of the four community development purposes, for example, serving as treasurer on the board of directors for a qualifying organization.
