We strive to be among the best banks in Middle and East Tennessee, but we couldn’t do that without an outstanding team. This week, the employees at our Decatur branch took some time to tell us a little bit about themselves as part of our “Get to Know” series, and we’re excited to introduce them to you.
One of the many things we love about the Meigs County community is its warm, sociable atmosphere. Many of our Decatur branch employees shared that they feel right at home in this East Tennessee locale, with customers that are often also family, friends and neighbors.
Branch supervisor Amy Maynor says she couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. Having lived in small communities like Decatur since she was young, she said she feels right at home in this cozy town.
“I grew up in… very small towns,” Maynor said, “So I’m a fan of the hometown feel that Decatur has!”

Is there anything you’d like to share about your family or pets?
My husband David and I have two adult children and three grandsons. My family is my world!
What is one thing you enjoy about banking?
Interacting with my customers and coworkers never makes for a dull moment. Helping people is my passion.
What is one goal you’d like to accomplish this year?
I’d like to organize my garage and spare bedroom.
April Yuppa

What is one thing you enjoy about banking?
I love helping customers reach their financial goals.
What is one of your hobbies outside of work?
I like to read watch movies and play outside with my child.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I’d go to Antarctica to see the northern lights!
Sandy Romanelli

What do you like about the Decatur community?
The people here are very nice and friendly!
What is one thing you enjoy about the Decatur branch?
At my branch, we work as a team. We’re all different, but we work well together!
What is one goal you’d like to accomplish this year?
I hope to get the landscaping done on my new home.

What do you like about the Decatur community?
I love the small, hometown feel. Oh, and the southern accents!
Is there anything you’d like to share about your family or pets?
We love animals! We have three dogs, two pygmy goats and four cats.

I enjoy interacting with different customers and meeting new people.
Danielle Roberts

Is there anything you’d like to share about your family or pets?
I’ve been happily married for five years to my best friend, Joseph. I have one daughter and two bonus sons. We have four dogs outside and one dog inside – he’s my favorite – ha! His name is Scout.
What is one of your hobbies outside of work?
I enjoy shopping, cooking, spending time with my family and going to church.
What do you like about the Decatur community?
The southern hospitality!
Jordan Roberts

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
If I could go anywhere, I’d love to go to Hawaii!
What is one of your hobbies outside of work?
I like to read and put jigsaw puzzles together.

What do you like about the Decatur community?
I love how the Decatur community cares about others. The businesses here try their best to help others in any way possible. Most of the people I run into are so kind and considerate!
What is one of your hobbies outside of work?
My daughter loves to play games, so several nights a week, we’ll play Marbles, UNO or board games. She typically beats me even though I don’t cut her any slack, especially at UNO!
What is one thing you enjoy about banking?
I truly enjoy being able to help others whether it be my customers or my fellow team members. Being able to help a customer get a new vehicle or house, or even to help someone at my branch with random duties is what makes me the happiest.
