The kind, welcoming staff at our Lenoir City branch will make you feel right at home as soon as you walk through the door. During our “Get to Know” series, we’re proud to feature the employees who strive to support every customer’s financial goals.
Branch supervisor Rachelle Thomas says she enjoys working as part of such a dedicated team that feels, in many ways, like a family.
“I love my customers – they are like family to me,” Thomas said. “All the staff works great together, and everyone gets along. We have fun while working and caring for our customers.”
We asked the branch team a few questions about their favorite things about the Lenoir City community. Here’s what we learned:

Is there anything you’d like to share about your family or pets?
I’ve been married to my husband Arnold Thomas for 33 years. We have two children, Bryson and Natalie.
What is one of your hobbies outside of work?
Spending time with family
What is one goal you’d like to accomplish this year?
To give more of my time to others in need and to let my light shine so others can see God in me.
Susan Goodwin

What is one thing you enjoy about banking (or your branch)?
We aren’t just colleagues. We’re a close-knit group of people who care about each other on a personal level. We might as well be family.
What is one of your hobbies outside of work?
My grandchildren are my hobbies! I love spending time with them on weekends.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I have always wanted to go to Hawaii to see the beautiful islands and, of course, the clear turquoise ocean.
Crystal Presley
Hometowns: Philadelphia, TN | Years of Banking Experience: 18
Is there anything you’d like to share about your family or pets?
My husband Dewayne and I have been married for a little over 20 years, and we have a daughter named Macy and a 3-year-old Chihuahua named Coco. My husband and I are firefighters and emergency medical responders with Philadelphia Volunteer Fire Department and are on the City of Philadelphia Council. We love the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
What is one thing you enjoy about banking (or your branch)?
I enjoy meeting new people and making sure the customer is happy before leaving the branch, as well as being a smiling face that may change their whole day. I love that we have a great team here at the Lenoir City Branch and that we work together as a team and that we all feel like family.
What is one goal you’d like to accomplish this year?
Enjoy every moment in life, good or bad. Let the bad moments be a learning lesson. Slow down and don’t take time with family and friends for granted. Show more grace and kindness.
Jamie Mayfield:

What do you like about the Lenoir City Community?
I like living in a small town and knowing most of the people in the community.
Is there anything you’d like to share about your family or pets?
I am married to Dennis, and we have a daughter Brittany who will be a senior at Tennessee Tech starting the fall. I have a passion for animals as we have three cats that keep me busy!
What is one thing you enjoy about banking (or your branch)?
I love the people I work with. We are like family! We work as a team and help each other if needed. We have a lot of very nice customers at our branch, and I enjoy getting to know them.
Margaret Lawson

Is there anything you’d like to share about your family or pets?
I have been married to my sweet husband, Aaron, for seven years. We are a racing family! My son Tyler races late models, so we are at a dirt track every weekend. We have three cats and three dogs, all of which are rescues.
What is one thing you enjoy about banking (or about your branch)?
We are like family here in Lenoir City and are a great team. I love interacting with our customers! Great customer service is my number one goal because each person needs to know they are appreciated and are important to us.
What is one goal you’d like to accomplish this year?
To be the best person I can be – that’s when I hope people can see God in me. Kindness can go a long way since we never know what someone is going through.

What do you like about the Lenoir City community?
I like the closeness of the community and the way the committees work together to accomplish goals for Loudon County.
